“I just graduated college this year. After I got my degree, I came straight to Hartford Stage for a two-show performance of ‘Anastasia’. When I got to Hartford Stage the whole cast was waiting with a cake and they sang ‘Pomp and Circumstance’. It ended up being a 20-hour day, but it was one of the best days in my past two months working here. I’m just on the cusp of discovering who I am as a person, and by seeing a wonderful cast like I’m working with on ‘Anastasia’, it makes me want to strive to be the same. Coming out of college, everything is kind of taken away from you. It’s a blank slate. So this is the chance for me to make my life what I want it to be.” --------------------- Kate is a Hartt School graduate, and female Swing for 'Anastasia'. She is responsible for knowing all of the other female cast members' parts so she could fill in for any one of them at any moment.
